The president of Cs applauds the abolition of inheritance tax in Castilla y León, driven by the orange formation

The president of Citizens (Cs), Albert Rivera, has opted for a single Selectivity in all of Spain instead of the current model, in which 17 access tests coexist with divergent criteria depending on the Autonomous Community in which you live. Rivera has assured that he wants a single exam "to guarantee equal opportunities for all students" and has ensured that "it is enough that nationalists condition the education of this country."

In this sense, the leader of the orange formation has asked for a national pact for Education that ensures that all Spaniards have access to quality, competitive and innovative training. "Human capital is our future," he explained, "so I propose to stop fighting for education, because it is the future of our children."

Rivera has affected the PP and the PSOE that have "40 years blocking a national pact" in this area and recalled in Salamanca, "the mecca of the Universities", the need for a just university system for all. “For those of us who have been university students and who have not given us anything. Or perhaps someone here has been given a plagiarized thesis like Pedro Sánchez? Or a Master's Final Project like Pablo Casado? Therefore, from the liberal party they propose to implement a Law of University Quality so that plagiarism or privileges do not take place.

In the proposal of Cs, Rivera has emphasized the improvement of education in English for all and recalled the need to restart and provide financially the High State Inspection in education – responsible for ensuring that compliance is met Education Law – and that "nationalists have been deactivating for the past 35 years."

On the other hand, the leader of Cs has applauded the initiative of the vice president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Francisco Igea, to end the inheritance tax. "The death tax has died in Castilla y León," he said, "many families who will benefit; farmers, winners, young people who receive a house from their parents ”. "Our commitment is that this tax disappears throughout Spain," he concluded.
