- Roberto Sánchez Sánchez will be in charge of the General Directorate of Telecommunications and Information Technologies
- Luis Martí Álvarez will be at the head of the General Directorate for Economic Policy
The Council of Ministers approved this Friday, at the proposal of the Minister of Economy and Business, Nadia Calviño, the appointments of Roberto Sánchez Sánchez as director general of Telecommunications and Information Technologies of the Secretary of State for the Information Society and the Digital Agenda, and Luis Martí Álvarez, as general director of Economic Policy.
Roberto Sánchez is a telecommunications engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a career officer at the Superior Corps of Information Systems and Technologies of the General State Administration. To date, he has held the position of Director of Innovation and Promotion of the City at the Madrid City Council and has had responsibilities in various public bodies and in the private sector.
For his part, Luis Martí has a degree from the Complutense-CUNEF University in Economic and Business Sciences, and a commercial technician and economist from the State since 1996. Until his appointment, he held the position of director of Digital Development at ICEX. Previously, he has held different positions in the Public Administration.
