Out of strict respect for the families of the victims, this meeting has been private.

The remains have reached the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport (Madrid), in a driven bag, from Turkey, accompanied by the defense attaché of the Spanish Embassy in Ankara, Colonel César Gutiérrez de la Cámara.

Subsequently, the colonel has moved in an official vehicle of the Ministry of Defense to the Forensic Anatomical Institute, where he has delivered the remains, following the instructions of the competent judicial body, the Central Court of Instruction number 3 of the National Court, directed by the magistrate María Tardón, who has appeared in the place.

The court is expected to order DNA tests to identify the affiliation of each of the remains.
