After learning of the death of singer-songwriter Luis Eduardo Aute, the Minister of Culture and Sports, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, has regretted his loss and conveyed his condolences to family, friends and followers.
For the Minister of Culture, Aute "was a complete artist, a person without whom we do not understand the recent history of Spain well, who from the Transition onwards is on a path of freedom."
Luis Eduardo Aute was "undoubtedly a reference for the author's song, but he did many other things" said Rodríguez Uribes, who pointed out that the singer "was a great, multifaceted, integral artist -a great painter, sculptor- and without a doubt a man of this democracy that we have achieved and for which we continue to fight and defend. Luis Eduardo Aute will always be in that collective memory of all of us. "
"We must always keep people like him in memory," concluded the minister.
