The Cs leader in Catalonia warns that "now it is not the time to talk about elections, to attack the head of state or to put up numbers"
"Stop wasting time on non-essentials and save lives." This has been said by the leader of Citizens (Cs) in Catalonia and senator, Lorena Roldán, to Quim Torra during the control session in the Parliament of Catalonia. Roldán pointed out that the Government "spent months criticizing that its powers had been taken away and they even allowed themselves the recklessness of boasting that they would have done better in an independent Catalonia" but then "they have done nothing with those powers and we are worse off than the rest of Spain and has lost control of infections ”, in relation to uncontrolled outbreaks in Catalonia.
Roldán pointed out that it was "common sense" to reinforce primary care and increase the screening of positives "to prevent point infections from becoming community" and lamented that "tests, trackers and selective confinements" are lacking. "For weeks we have been warning of the need to be prepared for outbreaks," said the senator.
The Cs leader in Catalonia has also warned that "now it is not the time to talk about elections, to attack the head of state or to put up numbers", like the one Torra did during the control session, spending time talking about issues outside the debate settled down. "Merchants, hoteliers and businessmen have spent money to adapt their facilities and make them safe and now they receive chaos, improvisation and uncertainty from the Government," said Roldán and pointed out that if the executive needs help, "ask for it or if they offer it to be used ”in order to reverse the current situation.
