The leader of Cs says that the president 'only likes his position for good, salary and the official car, but when talking about obligations and responsibilities the role no longer goes with him'
"Decide if you want to be president or CDR, because the two things at once cannot be." This has been said by the leader of Citizens (Cs) in Catalonia and senator, Lorena Roldán, to the president of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, in the control session to the Government in the Parliament. Roldan has asked Torra "that, if he wants to be president, that I act as such," but he has considered that "it is too late to amend his mistakes."
He has criticized that Torra was going to cut roads with the CDRs after the ‘procés’ sentence when the department d’Interior made reports that discouraged this type of protest. "The Mossos and Trànsit called for changes in the route and warned of the danger of accidents for both protesters and drivers," he explained and regretted that the Government carried out "zero actions to prevent road cuts or deter them when they occurred. " Roldan has pointed out that "it was irresponsible not to do anything to avoid the risks" but he recalled that Torra "not only did not prevent it, but went to lead the cuts."
The orange leader has affirmed that the president “only likes his position for the good, the salary and the official car, but when talking about obligations and responsibilities the role no longer goes with him” and has asked Torra to give himself Account "that has the inescapable duty to ensure the safety of all Catalans." "Go to cut roads if you want, but not as president of the Generalitat," he said. Finally, given the boycott threats of the "totalitarian Tsunami" to today's match between Barça and Madrid, Roldán has asked Torra to clarify "if he will act as president or as CDR."
