The deputy of VOX in the General Meeting, Sara Álvarez Rouco, has addressed today in the plenary session to all parliamentary groups to convey the “real” message and not the “misrepresented” who insist on “selling” to public opinion on VOX, as well as its position on feminism. Thus, Álvarez Rouco, explained that "against the instrumentalization of the misfortune of the most disadvantaged women to turn it into a way of capturing votes, VOX proposes and pursues equality between men and women."
"VOX does not call into question women's rights," continues the deputy, "VOX does not deny the violence of men against women, VOX is not retrograde, VOX is nothing like what you try to sell to the public opinion and, even less, VOX is a party insensitive to the problems that accentuate a good part of women ”. In fact, in the face of “lies” and “attacks” on VOX, Álvarez Rouco has insisted that “we want 8M to be a tribute to all women. To all women and not to the group they want to stick to, ”he said.
During her speech, the deputy asked the regional government and the other parties of the parliamentary arch "honesty and stop acting as agitators, as cheap demagogues and as destroyers of those who see society in a different way to theirs."
In this sense, she has claimed that "leave behind her fears and her revanchist frustrations that lead them to mistakenly think that we want the woman to be home without work at the service of her husband." “I am a woman, one more within the group that makes up VOX and like me, there are many, many, and for that reason I am not less, for that reason we are not less independent, neither less enterprising, nor less entrepreneurs. We want each of the women who wish to carry out their projects as any member of this society, ”he says.
"From Vox," he explains, "we pursue the idea of providing all people, women, men, men and women with the means to achieve the position they pursue in society without regard to sex." However, Álvarez Rouco insists, "today you are the ones in the Government, and therefore it is up to you to arbitrate the necessary solutions to prevent employers from seeing the fact of offering quality employment to women as a problem."
In this sense, the deputy continues, “if you really want equality between men and women, solve the problem. If they want women to be independent and reach all levels of dignity that correspond to them as a human being, who enjoy economic independence and who are not dependent on men, they provide the business world with the necessary conditions to offer employment to all and Each of the women. And that they do it in identical conditions to those of men without this being a problem. Only then will women have absolute freedom, only then will we achieve a more just and balanced society, ”he said.
“Stop demagogic games. Stop distracting public opinion with games of good and bad and work, which is in your hands. Do it. Be more effective instead of being effective, ”concludes Álvarez Rouco.
