From the Centro Dramático Nacional we want to congratulate all the winners of the 23rd edition of the Max Awards for the Performing Arts, which was held last night in Malaga.
Our production Shock (The Condor and The Puma), on the doctrine of neoliberal shock and the coups d'état in Chile and Argentina, won the Max for Best Stage Direction (fifth block received by Andrés Lima as director) and the Max for Best Stage Space Design (by the set designer Beatriz San Juan).
Last May, within our #LaVentanaDelCDN program, we offered a live master class with Andrés Lima, where he explained the theatrical creation process of Shock 1 (The condor and the puma) and the gestation of its second part Shock 2 (The Storm and the War).
On the other hand, another of the winners in the Max, the children's show New shoes, by Tian Gombau – L’Home Jugueixat, will visit us within the Titerescena program next November.
