The Peruvian Promotion Commission for Exportation and Tourism (PROMPERÚ) organized the 1st B2B Online Business Meeting for the promotion of export services offered by the South American country to the Spanish market. The aforementioned meeting had as its main objective to promote the subcontracting of ICT and digital services made in Peru, which meet the highest quality standards that the Spanish market requires.
This first commercial meeting between Peru and Spain, which took place on July 7 and 8, managed to generate a total of 45 commercial appointments and a business projection of close to 1.5 M Euros for the next 12 months.
17 Spanish and 10 Peruvian companies participated in the commercial appointment, which were specially selected by PROMPERÚ due to the quality of its offer and its international projection in areas such as: software development, animation, digital marketing and BPO (Call and Contact Center – Recovery and default management).
The business roundtable was supported by the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) and sector associations such as ANIEME or Diboos, among others.
The initiative has allowed Spanish companies to learn first-hand about the wide variety of services offered by Peruvian companies, thus strengthening trade relations between Peru and Spain through an innovative platform created for the occasion, according to the challenges that 2020 has brought.
In this way, Peru seeks to position itself as a key partner for Spanish contracting companies, which seek not only to reduce their production costs through the contracting of partial processes or final solutions, but also to establish transatlantic alliances to boost the dynamism of the international market. of ICT and digital solutions.
This type of business meetings are part of the promotional actions organized by PROMPERÚ as part of the strategy to promote the internationalization of Peruvian companies and the diversification of their offer at the international level. The next event that the Latin American country will carry out to continue strengthening this sector is the international business conference ‘Peru Service Summit 2020’.
