The PMP of the Autonomous Communities has stood at 40.71 days in the month of October, which means a decrease of 1.19 days compared to September.

The PMP data of the Central Administration has been encrypted in October in 25.58 days, with a decrease of 5.79 days in relation to the previous month.

The Local Entities have a payment term to suppliers of 67.34 days in October, which implies a decrease of 3.21 days with respect to the previous month. However, 73.96% of entities have terms equal to or less than 30 days.

Finally, the PMP registered in the Social Security Funds has been at 11.20 days, which means a decrease of 4.56 days in relation to September.

Central Administration Data

The PMP of the Central Administration has been encrypted in 25.58 days in October. This constitutes a decrease of 5.79 days in relation to the previous month.

The ratio of paid transactions has been 30.06 days, while the ratio of outstanding transactions has reached 20.55 days.

PMP of the autonomous communities

In the Autonomous Communities, the Average Period of Payment to Suppliers is set in October at 40.71 days, 1.19 days less than in September.

Regarding its composition, the ratio of transactions paid is 35.52 days, and that of transactions pending payment is 46.50 days.

This means, with respect to the previous month, that the ratio of paid transactions increases by 4.35 days, and the ratio of outstanding transactions falls by 4.62 days.

Debt of the autonomous communities

The amount of the commercial debt of the Autonomous Communities amounts to 4,704.5 million euros, equivalent to 0.38% of the national GDP.

In relation to the commercial debt of the previous month, there has been a decrease of 1.38%, equivalent to 65.84 million euros.

Data of the Local Corporations

The transfer entities present a Average Payment Period to Suppliers of 67.34 days, which means, compared to September 2019, a decrease of 3.21 days, thus consolidating the decrease in the global data.

The behavior of this period implies a recovery in the ratio of outstanding transactions that improves the overall data.

It should be taken into account that the average data of the subsector is calculated according to the same methodology established for each local corporation at the individual level, that is, that the days are weighted according to the volume of debt of each entity, so that in The calculation of the PMP has more weight those entities with greater indebtedness with suppliers.

If this method is not used, the simple average of the individual PMPs shows a figure of 34.25 days, far from the 67.34 days resulting from applying the methodology as if the subsector were a single entity.

In addition, of the 146 entities that have submitted information, 108 comply with the Average Payment Period in October, so that 73.96% present in that month a PMP equal to or less than 30 days.

If the entities with an excessive PMP (greater than 60 days), and representing 8.22% of the entities that present information from the subsector are not taken into account, the Average Payment Period is 24.04 days, improving, again, the September data.

Of the main cities, seven have a PMP of more than 30 days, and one, included in the previous group, exceeds 60 days. The reduction of the PMP deserves special attention in the case of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which has reduced its PMP by 112.21 days compared to the previous month.

The PMP in the Social Security Funds

In the case of Social Security Funds, the October PMP has been set at 11.20 days. Comparing the results with those of the previous month, the Average Period of Payment to Suppliers has decreased by 4.56 days.

The ratio of paid transactions has risen to 10.88 days, while the ratio of outstanding transactions has been 12.15 days.
