The headquarters of the Confederation of Business Organizations of Castilla y León (CECALE) has hosted the dissemination seminar of the results of the INESPO III University-Company Knowledge Transfer Network. Central Portugal Region – Castile and León.

On the day, some projects chosen in the “II PROTOTRANSFER Market Oriented Prototype Contest”, belonging to the universities of León, Salamanca and Valladolid, were presented. These projects have been beneficiaries of financial aid, up to 4,000 euros, for the materialization of the prototypes as well as the training programs for entrepreneurship.

The Cross-Border Commission has assessed the excellent quality of the projects presented, as well as the multidisciplinarity of its promoters, but above all the business involvement that accompanies them, both from companies in Castilla y León and the central region of Portugal.

The objective of this contest was to develop knowledge transfer activities through the materialization and development of a prototype to get a product or process with possibilities of being commercialized in the market.

On the other hand, the Cross-Border Commission has made a positive assessment of the INESPO III Project, highlighting the success of all the activities carried out since its inception and highlighting the importance of these projects to weave ties between neighboring communities that are beneficial to all.

This activity is framed as one of the main activities of the INESPO III project developed in the framework of the INTERREG V –A program, POCTECP 2014-2020, consisting of a consortium of nine Spanish and Portuguese entities: Universidade da Beira Interior, Universidade de Aveiro, Universidade de Coimbra, General Foundation of the University of Salamanca, General Foundation of the University of Valladolid, General Foundation of the University of León and of the Company, Pontifical University of Salamanca, CEC – Business Council of the Center / CCIC and CECALE.
