The Regional Business Confederation Extremeña, CREEX, and the Caja Rural de Extremadura have signed an agreement that involves the renewal of its agreement to promote and dynamize jointly the business fabric of Extremadura.

The agreement has been signed by Javier Peinado, general secretary of CREEX, and Urbano Caballo, president of the Caja Rural de Extremadura, in an act in which the general director of the financial entity, José María Portillo, has also been present.

Under the agreement, Caja Rural de Extremadura is committed to designing and making available to SMEs financial products tailored to the needs of the Extremaduran productive fabric, with advantageous conditions for these companies to develop and expand their activities.

In the act of signing, Urban Horse recalled that during 2018 the entity presiding granted 289.8 million euros in loans and credits for SMEs, and also to the support of business initiatives and projects, in addition to the support provided to individuals. The president of the financial institution has added that the Caja Rural continues to influence its vocation of service to Extremadura and its proximity to companies and individuals, since, not in vain, its decision-making center is rooted in Extremadura.

For his part, Javier Peinado has stood out and has valued the rural and modern nature of this financial institution, which can contribute to the fight against depopulation, both for the services it provides to individuals, as well as companies, encouraging, ultimately, the socio-economic growth of Extremadura.
