The National Dramatic Center (CDN) offers open theater content on their social networks with the launch of their new alternative programming #LaVentanaDelCDN.

Although our theaters are temporarily closed, even if we are confined for the good of all, even if we don't see each other for a while; the theater and all our stories can bring us closer, as if it were a virtual hug. To this end, the CDN has been proposing alternative online programming for a few days, to continue keeping alive the spirit of the theater: unity, communication to think, participate, laugh and, if necessary, cry together. While our health struggles to combat this virus, from the National Dramatic Center We want to share the best that the theater gives us, the voice of our artists, who give us air to breathe every day. Reading club. With the aim of promoting the reading of theatrical texts during these days, the CDN temporarily opens three publications of its most recent own theater productions: Man up from Andrea Jiménez and Noemi Rodríguez, The barbarians from Lucia Carballal Y Elena Fortun from Maria Folguera. The calendar of virtual meetings with the authors of the works will be published shortly, so that the reading community can formulate their questions or observations.

Live creators. Creators of the performing arts and representatives of today's dramaturgy will meet on Instagram to answer live questions about the creative processes in writing and staging. Creators who have participated this season in the CDN how Pablo Messiez, Theater in Vilo or Lucía Carballal, among others.

From my window. Different authors and authors will write and read a creative text about what they see from their window. The podcast It will be uploaded on the CDN's social networks. The first podcast has been written by Clàudia Cedó that this season excited the public with his text Like a bitch in a wasteland.

Meetings and proposals for students. To help the educational community, a series of meetings with authors and content for teachers and students have been proposed. Theater as a pedagogical tool to continue learning from home.

Sound fiction. Cycle podcasts of nine works of contemporary Spanish authorship. A theater to be enjoyed and listened to anywhere in the world. For this, a person from the artistic team of the theater production will be invited to introduce them into the play.

Unforgettable. It will collect emblematic functions seen in the CDN through the eyes of their creators, who will present the videos exclusively from their homes to the public. Andrés Lima has opened the section by making a brief analysis of Urtain, co-production of National Drama and Animal Center premiered in 2008 at the Valle-Inclán Theater, to which it returned in 2010.

Trades of the scene. Set of interviews with representatives of the main trades of the stage tables. An attractive way for the public to discover the ins and outs of the theater: scenery, lighting, costumes, sound space or management.

Trivial. Play the trivial of CDN about some of the proper names of universal theater. Participants must demonstrate their knowledge of playwrights like Federico García Lorca, Anton Chéjov or Miguel Mihura.
