The CDN participates in the «II Theater Week. Celebration of the World Theater Day 2019 »


The National Dramatic Center (CDN) belonging to National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM) participates again this year in the Theater Week organized to celebrate the World Theater Day.

The CDN collaborates with two activities within the programming of more than thirty that has been organized, from March 21 to 28, in different places of the Central District of Madrid.

The Sunday, March 24 It will be carried out, between 13.30 and 14.00 hours, on the stage installed in front of the Valle-Inclán Theater, reading the message from World Theater Day 2019. The reading will be carried out by the scenic artists Andrea Jiménez, Arturo Bernal, Eva Redondo, Gon Ramos, Jana Pacheco, José Troncoso, María Velasco and Noemí Rodríguez.

This year the message has been written by the playwright, director and pedagogue Carlos Celdrán, that in 2016 directed for the National Dramatic Center the theatrical work "Mechanics" within the cycle «A look at the world». You can read the message in the following link.

The Tuesday, March 26 you can see the work «Top Girls» of Caryl Churchill, at 6:00 p.m., in the Room Francisco Nieva of the Valle-Inclán Theater thanks to the initiative of Zero Box Office through which shows are offered with free admission in the Rooms of the Lavapiés Theaters Network.
