Eurodefense-Spain (ED-ES) is a non-profit association created following a collaboration agreement, signed on November 20, 1995, between the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) and the Higher Center for Studies of the National Defense (CESEDEN), This year will mark the XXV anniversary of the birth of ED-ES with various acts.
In accordance with its Foundational Act and its Statutes, the primary purposes of ED-ES are: to promote the spirit of National Security and Defense and to promote the knowledge by Spanish society of matters related to Security and Defense. In addition, ED-ES analyzes the presence and contribution of Spain to the needs of European Security and Defense and deepens studies aimed at developing the Common Security and Defense Policy of the European Union.
On the other hand, the Association reflects on the Spanish Defense industry to support its development within the framework of the aforementioned Common Security and Defense Policy. ED-ES is also a meeting and discussion forum for the study at national level and with the other 14 associations of the European Eurodefense network of the above mentioned topics.
