The Civil Guard has arrested a driver, wanted by the court and without a driving license, in the town of Baiona (A Coruña), who missed a checkpoint on the highway.

The events occurred on the 22nd when a patrol of motorcyclists from the Traffic Association, which was on the AG-57 in the direction of Vigo, detected the presence of two men in a car. The agents stopped the driver of the tourism, not obeying the signals of the agents and starting a high-speed flight to the first exit of the highway, where he collided slightly with the vehicle of another patrol that was trying to stop the flight, to to rejoin the same AG-57, this time Baiona sense.
After several kilometers of manifestly reckless driving, omissions at the orders of the agents and even attempts to attack the agents' motorcycles in the connecting sections, the escaped vehicle collided with the signaling and protection elements of the Sabaris toll, in the municipality of Baiona.
Moments later, with the support of a citizen security patrol from the Baiona – Nigrán Main Post, they arrested the two occupants of the tourism, who were unharmed.
After asking the driver for the documentation, the agents verified that he was claimed by the judicial authorities through a search and arrest and personalization order, and also did not have a driving license. In addition, the tourism used was uninsured, had not passed the technical inspection and had deficiencies in its technical conditions.
As a consequence of these events, the driver of tourism, 23 years old and a neighbor of A Ramallosa, and the investigation of the companion, 37 years old and a neighbor of Gondomar, were arrested.
