The Civil Guard, within the framework of the BLANDIENTE operation, has dismantled a criminal organization that introduced hashish along the coasts of Huelva and along the Guadalquivir river by boats.

18 people have been arrested and 1,470 kilos of hashish have been seized, as well as 6 short and 7 long weapons, including a weapon of war. Similarly, the agents have intervened 35 vehicles of which 3 have been recovered since they had been stolen in Paris.

In one of the bundles a geolocator was detected that had hidden the organization.

The investigation began when it became known of the existence of a group that could be introducing hashish to the peninsula along the coasts of Huelva and the Guadalquivir river. After establishing a surveillance device, the agents detected that this group came from outside Andalusia to carry out the stash and returned to their place of residence.
The organization had two groups: logistics / financing and operational. The first, in addition to financing, provided accommodation and vehicles for transfers and would be the ones that would travel to Morocco to deliver the geolocator.
The heads of the organization were three:
  • O.R.L.C., a resident of Elche, dedicated to the real estate sector, financed drug trafficking operations and was in charge of security and technical means
  • D.A.S., in addition to financing the operations, was in charge of the accommodation of the operative group, and together with the previous one, it was in charge of logistics. He lived in Santa Pola.
  • R.K., although he frequently traveled to Spain, his residence is in Paris. He was in charge of the operational part, provided the stolen vehicles and also had two companies dedicated to car rental.

Modus operandi

The researchers learned that the organization was carrying out the procedures in Morocco and a component was moving to introduce the geolocator. When R.K. Deciding where to put the stash, the logistics managers prepared the transport and accommodation.
The members of the operative group from France and Alicante would travel to the place of the cache, on the coast of Huelva or on the Guadalquivir river. The components of the network took great security measures and were heavily armed. The operations of the operative group were carried out in powerful vehicles with high load capacity.
When the Civil Guard had knowledge of the modus operandi, as well as of the components of the organization and its function within it, 16 records were carried out, prior authorization of the Court number 14 of Malaga, in the provinces of Malaga, Cádiz, Alicante and Almería.
