The Civil Guard has dismantled two criminal organizations dedicated to robbery in establishments and industrial warehouses in the Community of Madrid.
In a first performance, 4 people involved in more than twenty robberies committed in commercial establishments have been arrested. Likewise, in another investigation, the 6 members of a group specialized in the theft of industrial warehouses in the eastern area of Madrid have been arrested.
Operation CERBERO NAGOYA
In the framework of the CERBERO NAGOYA operation, the Civil Guard has detained the members of a group specialized in butrones to mobile phone companies, bicycles, motorcycles and sports equipment in locations in the Community of Madrid.
The investigation began last March after a robbery perpetrated in the town of Arganda del Rey (Madrid), where the authors removed from the interior of an establishment about twenty electric bikes valued at more than 100,000 euros, which they agreed to after practicing several butrones in the adjoining warehouses and later disable the premises alarm systems.
As a result of the data collection, the agents detected a vehicle that could have participated in the events, carrying out a detailed study on cars of that brand, which ultimately led to the now detainees, who throughout the investigation were He charges them with the theft of a dozen vehicles.
The agents found out that the group acted during the day, taking advantage of the state of alarm and the closure of establishments to act with total impunity. For this reason, they chose establishments away from homes so as not to attract attention. They were also adept at inhibiting alarm systems, allowing them a margin of several hours.
The objective that they were pursuing was material that was inside, but also the safe, which they opened using the thermal lance that had been intervened.
After successfully identifying the entire group, last Tuesday, its 4 members were detained and house searches were carried out in the province of Madrid and in the town of Yuncos (Toledo), where part of the stolen gender has also been recovered. of a significant number of tools, frequency inhibitors and master keys for vehicle theft.
The now detainees add more than 50 records for crimes related to heritage and they are charged with about twenty robberies in the towns of Arganda del Rey, Tres Cantos, Villaviciosa de Odón, Valdemoro, Las Rozas, Fuenlabrada, Móstoles and Leganés.
The operation has been carried out by agents belonging to the Organized Crime Group and the Arganda del Rey Judicial Police Team of the Madrid Civil Guard Command, who have had the support of agents from the Citizen Security Units (USECIC) from Madrid and Toledo.
Robberies in industrial warehouses
On the other hand, the Civil Guard has arrested the members of a criminal group that, taking advantage of the state of alarm, stole inside industrial warehouses of various companies in the eastern part of Madrid.
The investigation originated after receiving complaints from three people, who stated that they had suffered robberies at their companies in Ajalvir and Loeches. After the corresponding ocular inspection in the places, testimonies were collected that motivated the search for a vehicle that had been prowling around the area before committing the facts.
Subsequent investigations identified the entire group, consisting of five men and one woman. Likewise, it was determined that they used a car and a van in their criminal movements, and while the occupants of the vehicle carried out surveillance tasks, the rest of the group accessed the interior and stole everything they found inside.
The detainees, who are between the ages of 31 and 43, have an extensive criminal record, and have been placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
