The Civil Guard escorts a medical truck from its border with Portugal to the province of Alicante
The truck contained about 150,000 disposable hospital gowns that have been distributed by several hospitals, the last one, the Hospital del Vinalopó in Elche (Alicante)
The Civil Guard has escorted a truck with medical supplies from the border with Portugal to its final destination, the Hospital del Vinalopó in Elche (Alicante).
With the aim of ensuring that a truck with medical supplies, coming from Portugal, could cross the entire national territory without any incident and with the much-needed urgency motivated by current circumstances, the Civil Guard has proceeded to escort it through several Spanish provinces.
The truck entered through Verín (Ourense), where the agents assisted him on his way through the border. Subsequently, after performing a partial unloading at a hospital in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), the truck continued to its final destination, the Hospital del Vinalopó in Elche (Alicante).
Agents from the Citizen Security Unit of the Alicante Civil Guard Command (USECIC) escorted him, early yesterday afternoon, from the border with the province of Albacete to the said Hospital, where he was able to distribute some 140,000 robes, which will also be shared with the Torrevieja Hospital (Alicante).
