The Civil Guard identifies a driver who was going to buy a cylinder and tests positive for breathalyser
Equipped with a cylinder, he tried to convince the agents that the reason for his displacement, after midnight, lay in the acquisition of a spare part.
With an alcohol rate higher than the allowed and an unlikely pretext, the driver stated that he was going to have beers at a friend's house
The Civil Guard, during the conduct of a movement control, intercepted at dawn yesterday, a driver whose blood alcohol level reached a value of 0.48 mg / l in expired air.
Since last day 4, the DGT and the Civil Guard have intensified nighttime roadside controls to prevent unjustified movements from taking place during Easter, taking advantage of the early hours, a period during which surveillance is believed to be less.
In one of these controls in the province of Seville, after midnight, agents from the Traffic Subsector of the Civil Guard in Seville have intercepted the driver of a tourism vehicle, who told the agent who was questioning him that he was traveling because he needed to buy a cylinder that carried in the rear seats. However, the inconsistencies shown during the conversation with the tourist driver made the agent suspect that he could drive under the influence of alcoholic beverages, so he invited this person to undergo the alcohol test.
The first and second tests confirmed the agent's suspicion, testing positive for both and of the same percentage, with a rate of 0.48 mg / l of alcohol in expired air. The driver, faced with the evidence and the impossibility of justifying the trip in a coherent way, was denounced for positive BAC and for skipping the confinement measures, finally stating that he was traveling to have a beer at a friend's house.
