The Civil Guard intercepts in Nerja a person, positive in Coronavirus, who had fled from a hospital in Madrid
The patient was transferred to the Axarquía Regional Hospital in a medical ambulance
The Civil Guard has intercepted a person who had been diagnosed as positive by coronavirus and had fled from a Madrid hospital center.
The performance took place after a call from a relative of the patient who stated that he had left the Hospital de la Paz in Madrid when he was going to be admitted to a psychiatric center and that he had also tested positive for coronavirus.
After several negotiations with said hospital, the agents were able to corroborate the information expressed by the relative, so a device was established to locate the patient. As a result, the agents located this person in the Plaza del Chaparil in the town of Nerja (Málaga).
The Civil Guard, in coordination with the medical services, proceeded to transfer the patient in a medical ambulance to the Comarcal de la Axarquía hospital in the town of Vélez Málaga where he was admitted.
