The Civil Guard intervenes in Huelva more than three tons of hashish after intense persecution on the high seas

Due to the state of the sea and the need to strengthen the action to intercept the vessels, an official vessel of the Portuguese GNR, a helicopter of the Corps and another patrol of the Maritime Service came to the area

The Civil Guard has arrested five people as alleged perpetrators of a crime against Public Health and seized 116 bundles of hashish weighing 3,500 kilograms.

The intervention was carried out by the Provincial Maritime Service of Huelva, where the agents located about 10 miles south of the Portuguese border line with three recreational boats close to each other, which when they noticed the police presence they put different and opposite directions to the same.

After intense persecution, the three vessels were intercepted and inspected, and approximately 3,500 kilograms of hashish were seized, the three ships seized and their occupants arrested.

Due to the state of the sea and the need to reinforce the action, an official vessel of the Portuguese GNR, a helicopter of the Corps and another patrol of the Maritime Service came to the area that proceeded to transfer the detainees, recreational boats, and the 116 bundles.
