The Civil Guard investigates a person for a crime against road safety and disobedience to authority
The accused accompanied by three other people circulated on the road recklessly and endangering the life or integrity of the people
The driver and the occupants of the vehicle have also been sanctioned according to article 36.6 of the Royal Decree of the State of Alarm for disobedience to authority.
The Civil Guard has investigated a 33-year-old person, a neighbor of the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Tenerife), as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against road safety, for reckless driving and danger to life or physical integrity of people.
The events occurred on the 19th of this month, when the investigated driver and his three companions of 22, 33 and 37 years of age, also residents of the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna and who have been sanctioned for disobeying the authority in accordance to Royal Decree 463/2020 of the State of Alarm (article 36.6), they were driving on a road belonging to the municipality of Tacoronte, while they were recorded with a mobile terminal carrying out fuss, mockery and shouting at the neighbors, related to the current and serious situation of health crisis.
The video they recorded was later uploaded to various social networks.
The investigation has been carried out by Civil Guard agents belonging to the Main Post in Tacoronte. The proceedings investigated have been made available to the Court of Instruction of the Guard of San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
