Advertised on a well-known website the sale of disinfectant devices to prevent coronavirus
He took advantage of the health crisis to attract customers and sell all the devices he had stored for several years at 130 euros each.

The Civil Guard has investigated a 60-year-old man, a Spanish national and resident in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of fraud for deceptive advertising.
This has allowed detecting in a well-known portal for private sale, the publication of an advertisement with the title “Prevent Covid 19 coronavirus” and explanatory text: “Help to Prevent Covid 19 coronavirus”. "Powerful disinfectant apparatus, by generating ozone, totally cleans the rooms perceiving a slight clean smell, disinfecting all surfaces at once, destroying bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc."
"The laboratory, after its analysis, certified that each device on a surface of 50 square meters, achieves reductions of over 60% in the case of bacteria and 50% in molds and yeasts."
The now investigated allegedly took advantage of the health crisis to attract customers and sell the 21 devices that had been stored for several years at 130 euros each.
Citizen communication channel
The Telematic Crime Group of the Civil Guard has set up a channel to receive information from citizens related to cybercrimes that use the Covid-19 coronavirus as a hook. Through the e-mail ciberestafas@guardiacivil.org, any citizen can inform the Civil Guard of possible crimes through the Internet such as these types of scams, frauds, malicious attacks or disinformation.
The operation has been carried out by agents of the Organic Unit of the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard in La Rioja.
