The Civil Guard participates in the security device of the meeting of foreign ministers in Andorra
This ministerial meeting is framed in the preparatory acts of the XXVII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in Andorra next year
Together with the Andorra Police, the Civil Guard is providing joint and coordinated services on both sides of the border
The Civil Guard participates in the security device of the Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Affairs that is taking place in Andorra between today and tomorrow. This is one of the preparatory acts of the XXVII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government that will take place in the Principality in November next year.
The host country of the summit organizes its security in an integral manner, and the Civil Guard actively collaborates in said security, contributing troops from various Civil Guard units in Andorran territory assigned to the counterparts of the Andorra Police.
To this end, Andorra has established a command post in the capital -Andorra la Vella-, where several components of the Civil Guard will be integrated to support Andorran police authorities. The objective is to increase the coordination capacity in matters of public security and cross-border control.
The security device designed by the Civil Guard involves the participation of a large contingent with members of the Information Service, Mass Control, Special Forces and Telecommunications Service.
