The General Director of the Civil Guard, María Gámez, has held a working meeting with those responsible for the Civil Guard in the Autonomous City of Ceuta.

The Commands of the Civil Guard have exposed to the Director General the tasks they carry out in the Autonomous City, how the current situation is, as well as the prospects and future plans.

Subsequently, the Director General has visited the facilities of the Provincial Maritime Service in the port, the Fiscal and Ceuta Companies and has toured the border perimeter, as well as the border posts of Tarajal and Benzú.

The Director General has held a meeting with personnel of different scales and specialties of the Ceuta Command, whom she has congratulated for the work they do, mainly in the protection of the border perimeter and has also been able to talk with personnel who have been hospitalized for Covid-19 with whom he had contact during his illness.
