The Government of Spain launches the #EsteVirusLoParamosUnidos campaign to unite the efforts of the entire country in the fight against the coronavirus and encourage social distancing measures

It is a crucial moment for all of us, in which we have the possibility to demonstrate that we are up to the task. The Prime Minister, in his statement last night, appealed to everyone's civic sense and thanked the absolute dedication of many social and professional sectors, especially workers of the health system as a whole, when he said that Spain has the capacity to get up as many times as necessary.

"If we are convinced of anything," said the president, "it is of the strength of this country. This is a battle that we are going to win, about that there is no discussion: we are going to win it. The important thing is what price we will pay for that victory. The more lives we save, the more sick and sick days we avoid, the less time we live, study, work, and leisure we sacrifice, the more emphatic will that victory be. Let there be no doubt: united, we will get ahead Together we will defeat the virus. "

#EsteVirusLoParamosUnidos

To reinforce this idea of unity and common responsibility, the Government of Spain has today launched an important institutional publicity campaign in which it is reinforced that it is citizens, one by one and all together, the main engine of national hope in the fight against the virus.

The campaign has as its main element the label: #EsteVirusLoParamosUnidos, followed by the recommendations given by the Ministry of Health and coordinated by the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System, with phrases like these: "We stop it if you don't trust yourself"; "We stop it if you mentalize that this is not going to be easy"; "we stop it every time you wash your hands"; "we stop it when you meet by videoconference"; "we stop it if you stay at home"; "we stop it if you travel alone when it is essential"; "we stop it if you avoid crowded places"; "we stop it when you don't share false information"; "we stop it if you help and listen to our professionals"; "We stop it when you trust that we are going to get through this."

The image of this campaign expresses all the strength and responsibility that the Government demands of every citizen, of all ages, of all conditions. The same with which the entire Government and its president assume the seriousness of the moment and the deep responsibility they have before each of the inhabitants of all of Spain.
