It demands to know if it continues defending the separation of powers
The Popular Parliamentary Group has presented a battery of initiatives in Congress, in which it asks the Government when the dismissal of the Interior Minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, will take place “for lying to all citizens”, and that of the General Director of the Civil Guard, María Gámez, "for promoting illegal orders."
With its initiative, the GPP recalls that on June 2 we learned about the office of the dismissal of Colonel Diego Pérez de los Cobos. "Faced with the reasons alluded to by the Minister of the Interior, in that the motivations were due to a loss of confidence and that it had nothing to do with the 8-M report requested by the judicial authority, in that letter the director general of the Civil Guard specifies that the reasons for the loss of confidence are "for not reporting the development of investigations and actions of the Civil Guard."
The Popular Group recalls that the agents of the Security Forces who work in the functions of the Judicial Police "have the obligation to keep the secrecy of the actions in which they are involved and to report their content only to the investigating judges." For all of the above, the GPP's deputy spokesman Carlos Rojas, the GPP's interior spokeswoman, Ana Vázquez, and the deputy Beatriz Fanjul, ask the following questions to the Executive:
– How do you explain the dismissal of Colonel Pérez de los Cobos for refusing to comply with an illegal order given by the Government of Spain?
– Does the Government of Spain continue to defend the separation of powers?
– When will the dismissal of the director general of the Civil Guard take place for promoting illegal orders?
– When will the resignation of Minister Grande-Marlaska take place for lying to all citizens?
– How does this letter combine with the declarations at the parliamentary headquarters of the Interior Minister who assured that the dismissal was due to a simple restructuring of teams?
