The Prime Minister has not appeared so far in the XIV Legislature to account for the European Councils
The Popular Parliamentary Group has registered two requests to appear in the Congress of the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, to report on the health crisis caused by the Coronavirus.
In the first of these petitions, the Popular Group demands that Sánchez report to the Chamber "the informal videoconference of the European Council held on March 26, 2020 to confront the coronavirus crisis."
In the other request to appear, the GPP calls on the chief executive to report to Congress "on the measures that the Government is adopting in the context of the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19, as well as on the evolution of the economic and social situation ”.
So far in the XIV Legislature, Pedro Sánchez still does not appear to report to Congress on the result of the European Councils held. Specifically, it has not reported on the Councils of February 20 and 21 -after which the Popular Group requested the appearance of the Chief Executive-, as well as the other three European Councils held by videoconference on 10, 17 and 26 of March.
