The Popular Parliamentary Group in the Congress of Deputies has today demanded from the Government all the files on the mask purchases that it has made, including the names of the suppliers.
Specifically, the PP deputy secretary Cuca Gamarra, and the popular deputy Miguel Ángel Castellón, have requested a copy of the contracting file signed with the mercantile FCS Select Products S.L. for the supply of masks and the list of offers requested for the acquisition / import of the aforementioned masks, indicating the merchant of the suppliers consulted and the amount of the economic offers sent by them.
In this sense, both parliamentarians request the list of purchase files processed by the Government to acquire masks intended for any type of mass distribution – non-hospital use – (distribution among other administrations, distribution to personnel dependent on the Ministries, public distribution in the media transportation, distribution to pharmacies or any other type of distribution ordered by the Government).
In addition, the Popular Parliamentary Group has demanded that the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, appear in the Congress of Deputies to explain the measures already applied, those that are being applied and those that are planned to be applied from his department in the face of the crisis generated on the coronavirus (COVID-19).
He has also requested the appearance of the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, to report to the corresponding Committee of the Lower House on the budgetary impact of the measures adopted to deal with COVID-19.
Written questions about the loyalty of Sánchez's partners
On the other hand, the deputy spokesman of the GPP Carlos Rojas, and the deputy of the PP Beatriz Fanjul, have presented a battery of written questions to the Government about the loyalty of their partners at the moment.
