The Popular Parliamentary Group today criticized the new TVE series on the quarantine for coronavirus because "it calls into question the respect demanded by the victims and the very exceptional situation of confinement in which all Spaniards find themselves."
In this sense, the GPP recalled that “not a few sectors have interpreted the series entitled 'Quarantine Diaries' as inconvenient and unfortunate, in a situation as serious as the one we are going through due to the coronavirus and which has already produced 14,000 deaths in Spain".
For this reason, the Popular Group has reproached the Minister of Culture for having justified this initiative by relying on freedom of expression, saying that tragedy and humor are not at odds, which “is a major irresponsibility coming from a member of the Executive who is He has been ineffective in the face of the tragedy and without any ingenuity to fight it. "
