The Popular Parliamentary Group has presented a battery of written questions, prepared by the GPP deputy spokesperson Macarena Montesinos and the GPP spokesperson in the RTVE Mixed Commission, Eduardo Carazo, about a new case of bad information practices in RTVE, this time about the massive citizen pan over Pedro Sánchez before which the Corporation "has tiptoed".
As the GPP deputy spokesman has criticized, in the news on Saturday night, only a few seconds, with little sound, were dedicated to said spontaneous protest when a few days before they had dedicated an entire piece to the saucepan against the King.
In this case, Montesinos recalled, others are added, such as the complete non-issuance of Pablo Casado's statement last Saturday 14 after Pedro Sánchez announced the measures of the state of alarm, the concealment of the intervention of the PP leader after his meeting telematics with the popular regional presidents or the interview in the RTVE newsletter to a nurse close to Podemos at the Hospital de La Paz as if it were representative of the sector.
In this sense, Macarena Montesinos has denounced "a TVE laundering campaign to the passivity, ineffectiveness and improvisation of the Government trying to hide any criticism when there is a popular clamor of indignation."
For all these reasons, the GPP deputy spokesperson has demanded that RTVE stop its bad information practices because now more than ever an independent, plural and truthful public service is necessary for citizens to be well informed. In this sense, it has demanded that the Corporation rectify and report today on such a citizen demonstration.
