The Popular Parliamentary Group has registered a new battery of requests to appear on the Coronavirus in Congress, in this case the acting president of the Transparency Council, Javier Amorós, to report the degree of compliance by the Government with the Transparency Law , access to public information and good governance, and especially the information standstill due to the suspension of response times on the Transparency Portal while the state of alarm lasts.

Likewise, the GPP calls for new appearances of advisers to the Committee of Experts, which, in turn, has advised the Prime Minister during the crisis generated by COVID-19. Specifically, it requires the appearance of the General Secretary for Research, Rafael Rodrigo; the director of the National Center for Epidemiology, Marina Pollán; the director of the National Center for Microbiology, Jesús Oteo; the director of the State Research Agency, Enrique Playán; the president of the CSIC State Agency, Rosa Menéndez; and the director of the Carlos III Health Institute, Raquel Yotti. All of them, to explain the measures put in place from the organisms that direct, as well as the information transmitted to said Committee.

In addition, to maintain parliamentary monitoring of crisis management, the Popular Group has also requested the appearance in Congress of the director of the Spanish Agency for Data Protection, Mar Spain, to report on the activity of said body during the health crisis and, in particular, its intervention in the reporting, authorization, start-up and monitoring phase of applications created by the Government of Spain since the declaration of the state of alarm and its successive extensions or the announced monitoring initiatives of social networks by the interior minister.

Finally, the Popular Group once again demands the appearance of the second vice president and minister of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda, Pablo Iglesias, who already requested this past February 27, after he had not appeared after several months in the Government to report on the policies on the 2030 Agenda of your Ministry.
