The Popular Parliamentary Group has registered the request for the appearance of the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, José Luis Ábalos, in the corresponding Commission of the Congress of Deputies to account for the contracting procedures for the acquisition of masks by the department that directs.
Specifically, it is to know the procedures of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda in the purchase of masks as a result of the "Order TMA / 263/2020, of March 20, which regulates the acquisition and distribution of masks by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda ”and the“ Order TMA / 292/2020, of March 26, which regulates a second acquisition and distribution of masks by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda ”.
In this way, the GPP aims to clarify the doubts generated by the fact, known through the media, that a small company has gone from billing 100,000 euros in a year to 40 million for having received three millionaire government contracts. : two from the Ministry of Transport and one from the Interior on the recommendation of José Luis Ábalos' team.
