The Popular Parliamentary Group has presented a battery of initiatives in the Congress of Deputies, among which it claims the reports that endorsed different contradictory statements by various members of the Government about the Coronavirus, ranging from the use or not of masks to the claim that before April there would be a candidate for the vaccine.

Specifically, the GPP deputy spokesperson Sandra Moneo and the popular deputy Pedro Navarro have asked the Ministry of Science and Innovation for reports that
They endorsed the statement made by Minister Duque in public appearance on April 2, 2020, ensuring that "before the end of April we will have a
COVID-19 vaccine candidate, who endorsed the qualification to these on April 8 on CNBC stating that "before the end of April we will have a candidate for
COVID19 vaccine ”introducing the“ only for animals ”factor, and those who endorsed their statements to the Expansión newspaper on April 16 in which they recognized that“ the vaccine would not be ready this year ”.

The deputies of the GPP also request from the Ministry of Science and Innovation the reports that support the statements made throughout the months of
February, March and April by different members of the Government ruling out the use of masks in general by the population as a preventive measure against the contagion and spread of the coronavirus.

Also those who endorse the declarations made by different members of the Government recommending, after having said the opposite for months, the use of masks in a generalized way by the population as a preventive measure against contagion and the spread of the coronavirus, and those who endorse the declarations carried out by different members of the Government recommending the punctual and controlled exits of children as a palliative measure of the social consequences that home confinement produces in them.

On the other hand, the deputy spokesman of the GPP José Ignacio Echániz, and the popular deputy Beatriz Fanjul, have asked the Government of Spain for a copy of the list of providers of sanitary material with accredited experience in the sector, both nationally and internationally, which uses the Government of Spain for the
acquisition of this much-needed material at the moment for our country.

On the state of alarm, the Deputy Secretaries of PP Cuca Gamarra and Ana Beltrán, the deputy spokespersons of the GPP Pilar Marcos, Isabel Borrego and Carlos Rojas, and the
Popular deputies Edurne Uriarte, Jaime Mateu, José Antonio Bermúdez de Castro, María Jesús Moro and Adolfo Suárez have claimed from the Ministry of Justice the reports issued by the State Attorney General on April 2 and a subsequent supplementary report, regarding the discrepancy of existing criteria on the initiation of sanctioning procedures for alleged breaches of the limitations imposed during the state of alarm.
