With this objective two meetings have been held at the headquarters of the department, of the Sector Commission and of the Permanent Commission of the Open Government Forum, in which the three public administrations together with representatives of civil society have given the green light to the new roadmap for the consensual elaboration of their commitments and measures.
130 citizen proposals
The result of the consultation open to citizens, carried out between March 18 and April 10, 2019, is now specified in the 130 proposals of citizens and civil society organizations received by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function .
69% of civil society proposals focus on improving transparency and accountability in public administrations, as well as expanding the publication of data in open format.
The second group highlighted in number of proposals, 23% of the total, claims to increase and improve citizen participation in the processes of standards development and public management.
Promoting actions to improve communication, sensitizing society and training citizens and public employees is another priority of citizens (21% of the proposals). Finally, with 18% of the proposals received, citizens propose the development of actions to promote public integrity systems in the administrations.
Open Government Forum: space for collaboration and dialogue between Administration and society for the drafting of the Open Government Plan of Spain
The meeting held by the Permanent Commission of the Open Government Forum, a body of joint composition that ensures dialogue between public administrations and civil society, is the starting signal for the elaboration of the IV Plan.
Later, during the month of March, meetings and workshops will be organized, with the participation of representatives of both instances, to analyze and prioritize the proposals made by the citizens and prepare the first draft of the Plan, which will be published in the Transparency Portal so you can be known and receive contributions or comments.
This improves the quality of participation and the dynamics of the Forum, whose plenary will meet in June for the approval of the IV Open Government Plan.
