The Minister of Economy and Business, Nadia Calviño, meets tomorrow Tuesday in Paris with the French Minister of Economy and Finance, Bruno Le Maire. The meeting will serve to reinforce the common position of Spain and France on European issues, with an eye on the negotiation of an agreement on the deepening of the Economic and Monetary Union that will take place at the European Council next December.

The minister will take advantage of her stay in Paris to hold a meeting with representatives of Spanish companies with investments in France, to which she will transfer the firm commitment of the Government to promote the internationalization of Spanish companies.

With this visit, Minister Nadia Calviño begins a quarter marked by an intense international agenda. On Thursday he will hold a meeting in Madrid with the European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs, Pierre Moscovici. The two will also participate in a conference organized by Funcas on “Growth and social inclusion”.

On Friday and Saturday, the Minister of Economy and Business will participate in Vienna at the Eurofi financial forum and at the Eurogroup and Ecofin meetings. He will take advantage of his stay to hold bilateral meetings with his community colleagues, including the head of Finance of Germany, Olaf Scholz, and Portugal, Mario Centeno, who serves as president of the Eurogroup.

This same month, Nadia Calviño plans to participate in Berlin in a meeting of Economy Ministers convened by Olaf Scholz and in an event organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Frankfurt, which will also involve Spanish executives leading German companies.
