The Minister has presented a global vision of the National Health System and its future within the framework of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. He valued our health system and the need to continue advancing to adapt it to the new demographic, assistance, epidemiological, etc. needs, in order to make it fair in social and territorial terms, useful and efficient.

In order to achieve these objectives, it has been emphasized that the collaboration of all the subjects involved, public and private, is necessary. Administrations must create an environment that makes possible the development of private initiative in these areas and economic agents will have a nuclear role for these advances to take place.

For their part, members of the Commission have moved their concerns around issues such as the lack of professionals in some health specialties, the shortage of some medicines, the financing of the dependency system or the role of the pharmacy offices within the Spain emptied.
