The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, has participated in the telematic meeting held by the CEOE Tourism, Culture and Sports Council. The meeting was chaired by Marta Blanco, President of the Council, and was attended by a hundred businessmen, companies, financial institutions and business associations from the tourism sector.
During this meeting, the minister discussed with the business community the main issues that concern the tourism sector, one of the economic activities in which the COVID-19 crisis has most impacted. Along these lines, the challenges and opportunities that this situation brings for tourism and the importance of going hand in hand with Europe for the recovery of the sector have been discussed.
