The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food maintains air and human resources in the fire of Sotillo de la Adrada (Ávila) and sends extinction means to Beneixama (Alicante) and Biscarrués (Huesca)
The Ministry has sent, for the third consecutive day, air resources and specialists in extinction work to help the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León to put down the fire declared in Sotillo de la Adrada in Ávila. Air and human resources have also been sent to support the Valencian Community in the fire of Beneixama in Alicante and the Autonomous Community of Aragon in the fire of Biscarrués in Huesca.
In Ávila, there are 1 amphibious airplane of 5,500 liters from the base of Matacán in Salamanca, 1 Kamov helicopter of 4,500 liters from the base of Plasencia de Cáceres, 1 communications and observation aircraft from León airport, which sends aerial images in real time on the fire and 2 reinforcement brigades against forest fires at the bases of La Iglesuela in Toledo and Puerto El Pico in Ávila, which operate with 3 transport and unloading helicopters.
At the fire in Alicante have been sent 1 amphibious airplane Canadair of 5,500 liters of Los Llanos in Albacete, 2 amphibious aircraft of 3,100 liters of the base of Requena, 1 communication and observation aircraft of Mutxamel in Alicante and 1 brigade of reinforcement against forest fires of the base of Prado de Esquiladores in Cuenca that works with 2 transport and discharge helicopters of 1,200 liters.
A 4,500-gallon Kamov helicopter from the base of Plasencia del Monte has also been sent to Huesca to extinguish the fire that occurred in the town of Biscarrués.
