The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has today sent air resources and brigades of specialists to 14 forest fires, to support 7 CCAA: Andalusia, Asturias, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Comunidad Valenciana, Extremadura and Galicia, in the fight against the forest fires declared in Terque in Almería, San Martin de Oscos in Asturias, Jalance in Valencia, El Barraco, Casavieja, Casillas and Guisando in Ávila and Fuentidueña in Segovia.

Means of the extinguishing device have also been moved to work in the fires of Muelas de los Caballeros in Zamora, El Cardoso de la Sierra, Tortuero y Semillas in Guadalajara and Oliva de Mérida in Badajoz and Castrello do Val in Ourense.

At the fire of Terque in Almeria, 3 530-liter Canadair amphibious aircraft and 2 4,500-liter helicopters were sent. To San Martin de Oscos in Asturias they have sent a brigade of specialists with two helicopters of transport and unloading of 1,100 liters of capacity.

Jalance in Valencia sent 2 amphibious aircraft, while the four fires of Ávila in El Barraco, Casavieja, Casillas and Guisando have moved an amphibious aircraft, 6 helicopters of different capacities, a communications and observation aircraft and 4 reinforcement brigades against forest fires.

An amphibious plane and a communications and observation aircraft have also been sent to the Fuentidueña fire in Segovia and an amphibious plane to Muela de los Caballero in Zamora.

To the three fires of Guadalajara, declared in the towns of El Cardoso de la Sierra, Tortuero and Semillas, three large capacity helicopters have been sent, to Oliva de Mérida in Badajoz a drone has been sent and Castrello do Val in Ourense a brigade of specialists with 2 transport and unloading helicopters.
