"In these difficult times, we want to show our support and solidarity to the French Government," said the Secretary of State of Defense after meeting at the Bamako airport with the Spanish ambassador to Mali, Miguel Gomez de Aranda.
The person in charge of Defense has emphasized that France and Spain are "close allies" that collaborate in different missions such as the Barkhane operation, to which the deceased military belonged.
