The National Police leads the international fight against the cultivation and illicit trafficking of marijuana

§ More than 2,000 police officers specialized in the fight against drug trafficking have been part of this project designed with the objective of investigating international and national organizations based in Spain and specialized in the drug trafficking of marijuana
§ Since the plan was activated in February 2019, 814 people have been arrested and more than 300 cannabis plantations have been dismantled throughout the country
§ In addition, 176,970 marijuana plants were intervened and a total of 4,516 kilograms of marijuana, 5,487 kilos of hashish, 1,748 kilos of cocaine and 13 kilos of heroin have been seized.
