The National Police warns of a massive campaign of cyber-fraud attempts through extortion

· The agents have learned that, in just four days, more than 1,000 citizens have received emails in which they tried to commit the scam
· Sextortion is your type of online blackmail and, in the detected mode, cybercriminals indicate that they are aware that the user has visited pornographic content pages and, under the threat of spreading that fact to their contacts, they urge them to enter around 1,500 dollars in bitcoins in a virtual wallet
· The email account redesabierta@policia.es, managed by specialists of the National Police in cybercrime, receives numerous daily communications of possible cases that are analyzed individually
· The National Police offers a series of advice not to be a victim of this new criminal modality
