The Average Period of Payment to Suppliers (PMP) of the Autonomous Communities was 33.51 days in the month of May, which means a reduction of 1.37 days compared to the month of April.
The PMP data of the Central Administration is recorded in May at 31.84 days, which represents a decrease of 3.77 days in relation to the previous month.
Local entities have a payment term to suppliers of 61.04 days, which implies 8.42 days less than in April. Finally, the PMP registered in the Social Security Funds in May stands at 13.11 days, which represents an increase of 0.86 days.
Data from the Central Administration
The PMP of the Central Administration was estimated at 31.84 days in May.
This result, in comparison with the previous month, implies a decrease of 3.77 days.
The ratio of transactions paid was 33.74 days, while the ratio of outstanding transactions reached 29.70 days.
Data of the CCAA
Regarding the composition of the PMP of the Autonomous Communities in May, the ratio of operations paid is 27.61 days and that of operations pending payment in 39.67 days.
This means, compared to the previous month, that the ratio of transactions paid decreases by 3.70 days, while the ratio of outstanding transactions increases by 1.04 days.
Debt of the CCAA
The amount of the commercial debt of the Autonomous Communities amounts to 4,468.79 million euros, equivalent to 0.36% of the national GDP.
In relation to the commercial debt of the previous month, there has been an increase of 9.53%, equivalent to 388.93 million euros.
Data of the Local Corporations
As for the Local Corporations, the transfer entities present a Mean Payment Period to Suppliers of 61.04 days, which means, compared to April 2019, a decrease of 8.42 days.
In addition, of the 148 entities that have submitted information, 104 comply with the Average Payment Period in February, so that 70.27% have a PMP equal to or less than 30 days in that month.
If entities with an excessive PMP (greater than 60 days) are not taken into account, and that represent 8.7% of the entities that present sub-sector information, the Average Payment Period is 23.56 days, improving the April figure in 2.03 days.
Of the main cities, one presents a PMP greater than 60 days, and a total of three, including the previous one, present more than 30 days in May.
Social Security Funds
In the case of the Social Security Funds, the May PMP stood at 13.11 days.
Comparing the results with those of the previous month, it is observed that the Average Payment Period to Suppliers has increased by 0.86 days.
The ratio of transactions paid has amounted to 10.83 days; For its part, the ratio of outstanding transactions has been 24.08 days.
