The Popular Parliamentary Group today presented a Proposal no of Law in which it urges the Government to promote the appropriate measures to make effective the permanent incorporation of the parties of the First Women's Division of Spain in ‘La Quiniela’.

The initiative, promoted by Deputies Margarita Prohens, Diego Movellán and Alberto Casero, proposes to create a work commission in which it is decided, in a period of time not exceeding six months, the number of parties that are included and the distribution of the collections that are obtained.

The importance of women's sports in Spain at the highest level has grown exponentially in recent years. Although the achievements are remarkable, the path that women's football has to travel is long and complex.

The negotiation of a collective agreement that improves the working conditions of the players, the increase in salaries and the permanent incorporation of women's football in ‘La Quiniela’ are challenges that the GPP defends and that the AFE itself considers a priority.
