Continuism is the word that describes the current Government of the PP in the Junta de Andalucía. In December of last year, the Plenary of the Rincón de la Victoria City Council unanimously approved a VOX Motion to request the Board to start the corresponding economic and feasibility studies for the drafting of the Rincón de la Victoria connection project with Malaga by means of a light rail throughout the year 2020. A project that, as recognized by the municipal government, is at a standstill.
In the "Commission for Development, Infrastructures and Spatial Planning of the Junta de Andalucía of July 15, 2020" the Andalusian parliamentarian of the VOX Group Francisco Ocaña asked the counselor about the plans of the Junta de Andalucía for line 3 of the Malaga Metropolitan Train for the connection with Rincón de la Victoria. However, the answer given to this training is that the "priority is the expansion agreed with the Malaga City Council."
For the councilor of GM VOX Rincón de la Victoria, José Rodríguez, "this shows PP only thinks about the capital, not losing his chair and keeping the mayor's office at any price. It is, defends the councilor, a "basic infrastructure that should already be operating for years", so he demands that the municipal government team "claim this work from the Junta de Andalucía", which is, remember, "for above the interests of any political party ”.
