The president of CEOE International, Marta Blanco, participated yesterday in a meeting with more than 40 Spanish companies installed in Shanghai, within the framework of the official visit made during these days by the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, to China . The meeting involved Spanish companies related to sectors such as tourism, infrastructure, energy, automotive, banking, food or textiles, among others. During the ceremony, the president opted to boost the Hispano-Chinese Business Advisory Council, as well as to strengthen the business and investment opportunities between both countries.

Today, day 3, the president of CEOE International will also participate in the Spain-China Meeting: tourism and investments, organized by the Secretary of State for Trade, CEOE and the Chamber of Spain. In addition to Marta Banco, the day will open the Ambassador of Spain in China and the general director of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, Inmaculada Riera. To speak of "Spain as a tourist destination and business partner", the Minister Reyes Maroto will intervene, who will analyze the investment opportunities in the tourism sector and the possibility of cooperating in projects of common interest.

During the meeting will also address business developments and opportunities in the hotel sector. To expose these questions, Iberia CEO Luis Gallego will intervene; a representative of Amadeus IT Group; and the vice president for the Asia Pacific area of ​​Meliá, Bernardo Cabot Estarellas.

After the event, the president of CEOE International along with the rest of the Spanish delegation, will participate in a meeting with the Vice President of CTRIP, Li Xiaoping.
