This week, the Secretary of State for Digital Advance, Francisco Polo, embarks on an institutional trip through the United States to publicize the Government's plans to turn Spain into the next Entrepreneurial Nation.

Until next Friday, the Secretary of State will visit Boston, San Francisco and the Silicon Valley area, where he will meet with entrepreneurs, large technology companies, investors, institutional representatives and coworking and startup acceleration centers.

The promotion of technological entrepreneurship is the highest priority of the Secretary of State for Digital Advance, under the Ministry of Economy and Business. This institutional trip will contribute to placing Spain on the map of innovation and attracting new talent, venture capital investment and private equity and business opportunities.

"We want to turn Spain into a beacon for startups around the world," says Francisco Polo. "Technological entrepreneurship has a tractor effect on the entire economy, generating economic growth and employment in the medium term."
