Turespaña has opened the tender for the drafting of a Master Plan for restoration of the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos in Santiago de Compostela, assigned to the Paradores Network, under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
The Plan is essential to carry out drafts in the building, which is included in the Special Protection and Rehabilitation Plan of the Historic City of Santiago. The budget exceeds 350,000 euros and includes a total execution period of fifteen months.
For Secretary of State for Tourism and President of Turespaña, Isabel Oliver, "it is essential to undertake actions in one of the most emblematic paradors of the public chain, not only to guarantee its conservation but also to offer the highest quality standards".
The drafting work of the Plan will consist of carrying out a survey of plans and defining a technical research document that will improve the knowledge of the building and the analysis of current uses, and will mark the process of conservation, rehabilitation and / or restructuring of the building in phases. , with different levels and types of intervention.
In addition, the drafting of the project and construction management of the Restoration of the Royal Chapel and the altarpiece is planned.
